WOMEN’S WORK SHORT PLAY FESTIVAL | Festival Production Stage Manager
New Perspectives Theatre Company’s annual Short Play festival this year explores the theme: NOW OR NEVER. Stage managing all six pieces, Sydney is working to bring these one act plays to full production quality. Playing from December 6th through December 11th, come see all these new works on stage.
POCKET | Executive Producer
Serving as one of the executive producers, Sydney brought together an extraordinary team of artists and collaborators to execute and create singer Emma Ashford’s first music video.
BRILLIANT | Production Stage Manager
Also at the Broadway Bound Theatre Festival, BRILLIANT was one of only 4 musicals in the festival. Dani Tapper’s piece examines what it means to be a supportive and honest family.
WHITE WOMAN, BLACK BOY | Assistant Director & Production Stage Manager
At the Broadway Bound Theatre Festival, Sydney was able to work on David Holmberg’s new piece about the brutal murder of Emmet Till. Led by the prodigious Austin Pendleton, the team worked throughout the 2021 summer to then get to our week long presentation at Theatre Row.
DATING 2020 | Director & Executive Producer
DATING 2020 is a new musical web series that follows three young adults in New York City from March to December 2020 searching for connection in today's disconnected world. Working through the global pandemic, the social justice moment, and the crucial election, this unique piece touches on everything that made 2020 a year so difficult and unique when trying to connect with the world and people around us. PLANET CONNECTIONS | Assistant to the Artistic Directors & Stage Manager
Sydney joined the team at Planet Connections Theatre Festivity for their first ever Zoom Fest. She worked not only on the administrative side but also served as a stage manager for some of the productions in the festival. In an effort to keep theatre alive and accessible, the Zoom Fest was an amazing way for artists around the country to stay connected and stay creative!
ONEIRONAUT | Production Assistant & Content Creator
A 24-hour immersive theatrical event, ONEIRONAUT is a virtual experience where audiences around the world can tune in to explore dreams and question what is R.E.A.L. From The Outer Loop Theater Experience based in Chicago, this team has been working to make virtual theatre as intimate and unique as possible.
JOHN COMES HOME | Executive Producer & Director
Currently in post-production, JOHN COMES HOME a musical ballet examining an abusive relationship through a year of missed voicemails. In collaboration with fellow University of Michigan alumni Jacob Ryan Smith and Cole Abod, we have worked to develop a piece that unifies all aspects of performance - theatre, dance, film and music - to tell an important story.

5 LESBIANS EATING A QUICHE | Director
As one of 5 directors for the Basement Arts Winter 2020 Season, Sydney directed 5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche, a short play by Evan Linder and Andrew Hobgood. Though cut short due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, this production was able to bring a lighter moment of humor in a room full of college students.
One review said “The show was a delight. It was funny, satirical, well-acted, clever and all-together a terrific production…Sydney Prince’s directing was spot-on, and despite the news of the day, all fifty-one of us left laughing.”
FALSETTOS | Director
Originally premiering during the rise of the AIDS Crisis, Sydney directed this timeless piece as a part of Basement Arts Fall Season in January 2020. Written by James Lapine and William Finn, FALSETTOS displays the critical and everlasting messages of love, family and loss.
THE PUBLIC THEATER | Production Management Intern
Working on the Summer 2019 Shakespeare in the Park and Fall 2019 Public Theatre Seasons, Sydney was able to develop her production and stage management skills working in the production management department from May 2019 through August 2019. She was able to work closely on productions such as MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING, HERCULES, and SOFT POWER.

WATER BY THE SPOONFUL | 2ND ASSISTANT STAGE MANAGER
Directed by Professor and Mentor Geoff Packard, Sydney was fortunate to work on the stage management team for the University of Michigan’s Department of Theatre and Drama’s Production of WATER BY THE SPOONFUL written by Quiara Alegría Hudes.
FOR THE RECORD | Production Stage Manager
Runyonland Production’s inaugural show FOR THE RECORD written by Geoff Packard unpacks the tenuous relationship between Rob, a young, struggling musician, and DC, a man struggling to complete his album because of his recently diagnosed Huntington’s Disease. With producer Thomas Laub, Sydney aided in bringing this new and innovative piece of theatre to life.
BREAKING GROUND | Assistant Director & Production Stage Manager
As a part of the 2018 New York Musical Festival’s Student Leadership Program, Sydney and 5 other young artists came together to create, mount and produce a completely original work. BREAKING GROUND works to uncover and call out the problems and issues facing young adults today.
TCHAIKOVSKY: NONE BUT THE LONELY HEART | Production Assistant
Working for Aaron Grant Theatrical, Sydney worked on the Off-Broadway run of TCHAIKOVSKY: NONE BUT THE LONELY HEART by the Ensemble for the Romantic Center at The Pershing Square Signature Center. During the summer of 2018, Sydney was a part of this team from first rehearsal through closing night.
