5 LESBIANS EATING A QUICHE
Part of the Basement Arts Winter 2020 Season
A short play by Evan Linder and Andrew Hobgood.
Though cut short due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, 5 Lesbians Eating A Quiche was chosen as one of five productions in the 2020 winter season for Basement Arts at The University of Michigan.
The production was able to have one public performance, providing the audience with laughter and heartfelt characters in a silly silly story.
“The show was a delight. It was funny, satirical, well-acted, clever and all-together a terrific production.”
“Sydney Prince’s directing was spot-on, and despite the news of the day, all fifty-one of us left laughing.”
“More than that, “Five Lesbians…” was willing to share a little part of their process knowing that most of its audiences had given up theirs. Art in times of uncertainty relies on what art is founded on; community and generosity. Art provides us with a safe place to go, to return to, and to look forward to.”
